When it comes to internal tools and information, Amazon is a culture of self service. Yet Amazon did not have a single source platform to host brand guidelines. Brand guidelines content was hidden, disburse and shared across 100s of internal wiki pages, one off PDFs, BOX accounts, internal shared drives, etc. All these channels created a fragmented unreliable experience for employees needing to find current information quickly and easily.
